Scary stamps.

The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries.

[thunder/moan sfx]

Just in time for Halloween, Canada has issued more stamps featuring ghost stories.

It’s the second set in the Haunted Canada series, and the stories represented are from
all across the country, from Vancouver to Halifax.

There’s the oxcart driven by a ghost, which soldiers claim they saw a century ago. The
Headless Brakeman or railway worker from Gastown in Vancouver, which many think is the
most haunted neighborhood in Canada. The ghost of a woman executed for the murder of
her husband 250 years ago who some say still approaches travelers in Quebec. The woman
roaming an old fort, looking for her lost love. And the former innkeeper of a Gold Rush
hotel, whose grave is… missing.

The first Haunted Canada stamps were issued last year, and Canada Post promises it’ll
“scare up” one more set next year.
