- Sponsored February 1998 resolution reminding APS members that the Society's code of ethics applies to conduct on the Internet, too. (Check the minutes, about halfway down the page.)
- Proposed resolution that led to the USPS changing its policy on regional distribution on commemoratives. (February 1999, near the bottom.)

- Brokered peace agreement between the APS and AFDCS, getting Americover into the qualification process for World Series of Philately status.
- Raised awareness of first day cover collecting and new-issue U.S. collecting.
- Proposed Cachetmakers FDC Bourses at APS Stampshows (February 1999, about a fourth of the way down.)
- Brought up membership promotional campaign that would offer discounts on select merchandise from participating dealers (January 2001).
- Proposed working to make NYC shows friendlier to beginners, youth and casual collectors (January 2001).
- Chaired or participated in "town meetings" at New York City "Mega-Event" shows. Sometimes members even showed up!
