Meetings: First and fifth Tuesday of each month starting at 7:00 pm. The
fifth Tuesday meeting is for swapping/trading stamps only.
Meeting Location: Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 2931 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee (a few blocks west of Neyland/Concord Drive).
History: In September of 1980, 14 stamp collectors met at Brookshier's Stamp
Store on Broadway Street in Knoxville, Tennessee, and formed the Expo City
Stamp Club, Knoxville's first organized stamp club. The club name was changed
to the Knoxville Stamp Club in the mid 1980s and then to the Knoxville
Philatelic Society in the early 1990s. Though today's membership is much less, in the
1980s the club boosted 110 members.
